Meet the team of Bitten Fruit Books
We are very grateful to all those who make it possible for Bitten Fruit Books and its authors to write and publish stories and get them out there in front of readers.
Dianna Hardy
Dianna has been a published author since the late nineties, has training and a background in Theatre and Drama, Retail Management, Spiritual and Holistic Therapies, and works heavily as an artist and graphic designer and content editor. She is a member of ACES: The Society for Editing, and will work on your developmental edits, cover designs, paperback formatting, and manages the data and publishing processes of all our books.
Alastair Hay
Alastair is Dianna's long-time partner. He has a background in health and well-being with a BSc in Physiology and Pharmacology. He also has a background in retail, creates courses and workshops, and teaches. He acts as a business coach to Bitten Fruit Books, a marketing adviser, occasionally proofreads manuscripts, and is AKA that word guy on TikTok.
Sienna Hay
Sienna is an A-Level student of English, Media Studies, and Religion, Ethics & Philosophy. She is a manuscript reader (first reader), and occasionally also proofreads for us. She's also an excellent creator of chibi-style art and video animation.
Editors
We outsource our final-stage copyediting and sometimes our proofreading. Our freelance editors have a sharp eye and the patience of angels.
